Long ago, When I was very young. I was riding on a small motorbike with my mom. Suddenly my mom stop at the side of a very busy road. She park the bike and ask me to sit still. Then I notice my mom walking over to an old woman trying to cross the road. She held her hand and help her to cross the road. I notice that there are people that gave my mom weird look but she still help the person to cross the road. I was very proud of my mom.
My mom taught me charity, kindness humility, to do the right thing no matter what other people think and thing that I cannot find words to express with that simple act of kindness.
She taught me through her actions and never through her words. I will never forget the lesson taught that day
I love my mom

Hi Bryan, the title of your post stopped me in my tracks, I am glad I “clicked” in to read more. What an incredible gift you have been given by your mother and your mother an incredible child in return to recognize this. Wise is your mother indeed. I can only hope that I do well by my children, as your mother has…This actually makes me cry…
Actions not words…so true…
Humility…this is it! The lesson of humility is profound is it not…!
Best to you on finding “you”…in your journey…
